aMELIA PARKINSON - DOULA
Hi – I’m a doula and childbirth educator in the Inner West of Sydney. I had a homebirth myself in the UK and love supporting women to birth their baby THEIR way. I have been teaching hypnobirthing and education for childbirth over the last 5 years in London and Sydney. I have witnessed women own their birth and take control of the experience. Teaching online birth courses and face to face workshops is a passion of mine as I love watching the transformation as women and their birth partners learn all about the processes and how incredible our bodies are.
I love supporting women on this incredible journey and support throughout pregnancy birth and the postnatal period. I also facilitate a private mother’s group in the Inner West Sydney that supports women throughout those early months.
I run the Positive Birth Movement for Inner West Sydney and also volunteer with Homebirth NSW on their committee. I am passionate about feminism and supporting women’s rights in childbirth.
I would love to chat with you further about your pregnancy and birth and to see how I can support you on this magical journey.

ASHLEY WINNING - DOULA
Congratulations on your new little baby bump or newborn!
I’m Ashley mother of two beautiful little girls. I’m a Postpartum Doula & I support mothers with babies from birth up to one year who feel isolated, overwhelmed and exhausted in this new little world of motherhood. OR adding another little bundle of joy into their family.
I provide mothers with non-judgemental support, providing evidence-based information and resources, a listening ear, gentle guidance and understanding. Giving mum and baby the best start to motherhood, nurturing her confidence to mother the way she feels is best for her, and empowering her to be the best mama she can be.
After having two little ones of my own and struggling through the isolation, overwhelm and sleep deprivation I wished I had someone love and support me through motherhood and help me gain the confidence I needed. I believe all mothers deserve the best start to motherhood, and that begins with the best support.
I am based in Queensland and I can support you through my new online platform being released soon – Divine Motherhood Retreat. (You can find out more on my website).
I would love to nurture and support you to find peace and joy in your journey as a mother. Please contact me through my website for a free consultation, I would love to hear from you!
CLAIRe HEENAN - DOULA
Hi, I’m Claire!
I am a certified birth and postnatal doula. I am continuously building on my knowledge by going to workshops such as Optimal Maternal Positioning, Why Induction Matters, the With Woman Retreat and others. I trust deeply that women are the experts when it comes to their babies. As your doula, it’s my role to be alongside you in whatever capacity you want and need. I will be with you before, during and following birth, there to talk when you need to make informed choices about the care of you and your baby.
I’ve always believed in the magic created when women support women and this is at the heart of my work as a doula. I am lucky enough to live and work primarily within the beautiful Blue Mountains community, but I am passionate about powering with women from all over Sydney through the most life-changing, soul-awakening, mind-blowing transition of their lives. It’s imperative that as a birthing woman, you surround yourself with a birth team that aligns with your individual vision for your birth and postnatal experience. A woman giving birth is a warrior and a queen, and should be made to feel as such. Our first meeting is absolutely obligation free but hopefully we can work together to rock your birth, your way.
My other services include facilitation of Women’s Circles at the MoonCourt temple at my home, Mother Blessings and Closing the Bones Ceremony. I also offer online, virtual Women’s Circles so that women from all over the globe can gather and feel our collective power.
DANIELA Escobar - DOULA
Postnatal care is so profound. It takes mom to a state of nurturance and nourishment. It is a moment for her body to heal and for her heart to be fully connected with her baby.
During this time, mom’s physiology is a delicate as her newborn’s. Therefore she should honor this opportunity to allow her body to heal in a way that will leave mom stronger than ever.
The six weeks following birth are one of the most critical times for both mom and baby. Ayurveda considers this time to be a precious time in a mother’s life.
Emma Burke - DOULA
Hi, I’m Emma
I am Birth and Postpartum Doula, based in the Sutherland Shire, and service many surrounding suburbs including St George, Bankstown, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs. I will travel up to one hour to offer unwavering support for you at home and in the hospital.
I support many different types of births in all types of environments, including Homebirth, Birth Centre and both Public & Private Hospitals.
As your Doula, I assist you to birth your baby by using natural pain relief techniques, massage, encouragement, relaxation, aromatherapy, homeopathy, breath tools and other comfort measures. I help your partner feel more trusting of the birth process and more confident in their role as support person. I already know that you can birth your baby easily and naturally using your mind, intuition and innate birthing power as your tools.
I use my signature strengths as an intuitive & empath to guide you in reconnecting with your body, and to remind you of your own unique skillset and coping mechanisms that will allow you to bring this baby into the world in a way that is deeply empowering and satisfying. I work alongside the whole family, and advocate for you in collaboration with your care providers.
As your Doula in Postpartum, my support continues with a birth debrief, providing you nourishing meals, gentle reassurance, referral to local providers, babywearing demonstrations, settling techniques, and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support. With a special interest in postpartum preparation and traditional postpartum care, I’ll leave you knowing you have all the tools within you for deep satisfaction in your role as a Mother from the very beginning.
When we meet, we can work out the areas where you need support the most. My Doula package is flexible – I provide a customised service that will meet your individual needs.
I am currently supporting only one client per month, so you can be assured you will receive my utmost attention and care.
Please visit my website for more about my birth philosophy, and reach out for my package & pricing information.
Georgie Jhet - DOULA
I’m Georgie and I have been a Doula since finishing my training with the Australian Doula College at the beginning of 2012 and so far have attended around 35 births. I have also completed the ADC’s Childbirth Educator’s Course since and became a Placenta Specialist nearly 4 years ago!
Before training as a Birth Worker, I was in the corporate world working in IT & Telco primarily for 20 years! My first birth experience fast-tracked my passion and compassion for birthing women and their partners and I attempted a homebirth with my daughter, but after a long labour, I headed to hospital and received a little help to bring her Earthside. I really believe my birthing journeys have prepared me in so many ways to be open-minded about my clients’ choices and respect their decisions implicitly. I learned that each birth teaches a woman and her partner so much about themselves and have since concentrated on joining many of the Sacred Living Movement’s retreats around the world – the foundation of their training is based on coming together in circle, to connect, to honour the process and each other and to have lots of fun doing so. I am so drawn to homebirth and if given the chance for another child, it would be my top choice once again.
I am based between the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches of Sydney and would love to meet you to discuss how I can bring connection and fun in addition to the usual doula talking points.
Can’t wait to meet you,
Kathryn Bell - DOULA
Hello, I’m Kath.
I'm passionate about helping parents to feel informed, confident and cared for in birth, breastfeeding and early parenthood.
I’ve been supporting women and families in pregnancy, birth and postnatally since 2012 as a qualified birth and postnatal doula. I’m also a certified Hypnobirthing Australia™ practitioner and used the tools myself for my second birth at home. And, I advocate for women’s choices through my volunteer work with Homebirth NSW and Friends of Northern Beaches Maternity.
We women really are amazing in birth and as mothers! We just need a team that believes in us, knowledge about our choices and how our incredible body works, and some genuine TLC. My job as doula is to help you to find the information and tools you need to trust in yourself, your body and your baby. And, to give you all (you, your partner and your older children if you have them) the emotional and physical support you need for the most beautiful, comfortable and joyous time possible. Both as you work to bring your baby into the world, and afterwards.
I’m based in Avalon on the Northern Beaches with my hubby, two girls, cat and 6 hens, and attend births locally, in the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and North Shore.
I’d love to talk to you about your dreams for a beautiful birth and motherhood journey.

My focus is to help and empower you to get this, and to support you in making the most informed decisions throughout your incredible journey.
I have supported many women to have their babies at home and I’m also a homebirth mumma myself. I love working with many independent midwives across Sydney and now the midwives at The Royal Hospital for Women with their homebirth program.
Based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, I work with women in the nearby area, including the Lower North Shore and Inner West.
