Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting many families choosing homebirth and have developed a deep understanding of the trust, preparation and continuity that homebirth requires. I am passionate about creating a calm, respectful and supportive space where women feel informed, confident and connected to their own experience of birth. I believe every woman and family is unique, and that care should be shaped around their individual needs, values and choices. My approach is grounded in woman-centred care, informed decision-making, physiological birth and the importance of a trusting relationship between woman and midwife. I see my role as being with woman, providing evidence-based information, skilled midwifery care, reassurance and support while allowing space for each woman to birth in her own way.
