I have a heart for supporting women to embrace their inner power and be at the centre of their own journey. I believe that all women deserve compassionate, respectful and holistic care, which allows them to be confident in making informed choices. I am passionate about physiological birth, breastfeeding, instinctual parenting, and encouraging you to follow your intuition and work with your body’s perfectly designed physiology. 
Based out of Sydney’s Inner West, I offer the full continuum of care, including homebirths.
My professional experience spans continuity-of-care models and working in a publicly funded homebirth system. I am grateful to be able to offer families greater choice, control, and flexibility as a private midwife.
As a proud midwife, wife, and mother, I understand the transformative nature of birth and the transition into motherhood. In my own mothering journey, I had a magical labour at home, which resulted in an unexpected hospital transfer. Despite a birth that didn't go as I hoped, my labour, birth, and postnatal journey remain the most powerful experiences of my life, by which I found my inner strength and wisdom. I am committed to seeing that every woman and family in my care are ready to embrace their unique journey.

Lena holds a Bachelor of Midwifery from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is currently completing her Masters in Primary Maternity Care through Griffith University. She is working towards accreditation as a Lactation Consultant and a Possums Neuroprotective Development Care Practitioner.
