My path into midwifery was shaped by the homebirths of my daughters in 1996 and 1999 - experiences that highlighted the profound value of personalised, relationship-based care with a trusted midwife. These formative moments inspired my commitment to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Since then, I have worked extensively as a doula and midwife in a variety of birth settings, providing individualised, compassionate care to women, birthing people, and their families. I bring a deep respect for the birth process and the people I support, with a strong focus on informed choice, safety, and emotional wellbeing.
My approach is centred around building trusting, collaborative relationships. I believe in placing the woman at the centre of her care, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every family I work with feels heard, supported, and confident in their decision making.
All midwifery care is offered in the comfort and familiarity of the home, allowing for greater involvement of family members.
