With over 22 years of experience as an Endorsed Midwife, I have cared for birthing women at home, in birth centres across the UK and Australia. I am also a Lactation Consultant and Child & Family Health Midwife with two Master's degrees. I have always worked in continuity of care models, passionately providing continuity of care, supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am dedicated to offering safe, evidence-based care that meets physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, while respecting women's autonomy and choices.
Homebirth is a personal passion of mine, having been born at home myself and attending many beautiful, gentle home births in the UK. I believe in the natural ability of women to birth without intervention and respect each woman's unique knowledge of what’s best for herself and her baby. Known for my kind and gentle approach, I tailor care to individual needs. I work with families, providing education for informed decision-making. As a Lactation Consultant, I can help women achieve their feeding goals.
I strive to create a calm, safe, and quiet space at home where women can labour and birth undisturbed, surrounded by love. I also embrace holistic therapies, having trained in Reflexology and Aromatherapy. With experience supporting women from early pregnancy to families with children up to five years old, I offer guidance for a smooth transition to parenthood. I offer flexible care options, care for women birthing at home or hospital. I want to support all women, in whichever place they wish to birth in.
I live in Sutherland Shire and am married with three beautiful children.
