'Homebirth and Positive Birth support groups are running all across New South Wales. Support groups are pivotal for mothers and families in any perinatal (pregnancy, birth and postnatal) journey and especially so for homebirth families. We have collated information from several groups across NSW - you can browse the large list through the Google Maps feature below. If you can't find a local support group in your area, contact a local doula and ask if they would be happy to start one, or consider starting one yourself. WHAT IS A HOMEBIRTH SUPPORT GROUP?

Homebirth support groups are a fantastic way for women to meet other mums, socialise their babies and find their local community. We have some incredible homebirth groups around NSW that provide invaluable resources to homebirthers and homebirth curious. These groups also provide a way for grassroots activism around NSW. If you don't have a homebirth group in your area, consider starting one! Contact our memberships coordinator for more information.
