At MotherCare, I am here to support you and your family’s unique journey through pregnancy and birth. I believe in the safety of a trusting and respectful relationship centred around you, your experiences and needs.
My belief in birth as a normal life event comes from my personal and professional experiences. 
 
I was born at home, and my birth inspired my mother to train as a midwife. She then role modelled her practice, initially in hospitals and then privately, to me throughout my teens. Later when I birthed my own beautiful boys, I was moved to become a midwife myself. 
 
I was a Clinical Midwifery Specialist at a freestanding midwifery-led birth center for fourteen fulfilling years, before taking the next natural step to private practice with a deepening commitment to honouring the power of women, informed decision making, and the spiritual, physiological, and emotional aspects of birth.
