"Hi my name is Teena. After having my own children 23 and 21 years ago, I was inspired by the midwives who cared for me to become a midwife. I believe having a baby is a very special life event and feel it’s an absolute privilege to partner women and their families through this transition to mother/parenthood. After a 16 year Midwifery career in the Hospital system, 10 of which were spent in a caseload model, I have now transitioned into private practice. I am passionate about providing women centred care, from early pregnancy, through labour/birth and the postpartum. I work in partnership with other private Midwives to ensure that women have a known second Midwife for the duration of their pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.
